On view throughout the Museum are an especially varied range of objects, images, and room-sized famous pop artists installations, including masterworks by some of the most influential artists of the past forty years, along with an impressive number of recently acquired works by emerging artists. open ends includes eleven distinct exhibitions and ten large-scale works and installations that examine key themes and lines of affinity pop that define contemporary art and artists. the exhibition opens in three stages. artists architecture artwork by famous artists hot and cold presents a wide range of images of architecture principally drawn pop from the museum’s collections of photographs and artists architectural drawings. the exhibition includes works by architects including archigram and rem koolhaas are shown alongside the photography of andreas gursky and robert adams, for example, as well as works in different media by artists such as gordon matta-clark, andy drawings by famous artists warhol, and joel shapiro.

currently pop our site is international, representing over 100 artists from around the world. we have poets, musicians, painters, artists sculptors, digital artists, performance artists, animators and much more. we are always open to adding artists in new areas. to reach famous the artists here, pop you can visit their studios and see their email address. if you would like to reach the site webmaster, our email address. art on the net came into existance in june of artists 1994. the idea of having such a site came to lile while she was involved in an open studios event in april. she was displaying many of her new oil paintings in her studio when a friend and young entrepeneur came through and wanted to purchase an oil painting entitled "art on the net". they talked about how wonderful it would be to have art up on the internet for viewing and he offered lile internet access for a www site that would help famous artists share their art. so like many things in the art world, the site pop began artists with a barter with lile trading the oil painting, "art on the net" for an internet connection for one year.
